Sedation

What is Sedation Dentistry? There are a number of different types of sedation used in Dentistry today. At All West Dental we implement Oral Conscious Sedation techniques that, as the name implies, allow you to be sedated to a point where you will neither feel pain nor anxiety but will still be fully conscious. It is as simple as taking a prescribed pill! You will be drowsy and unaware of time passing by! Our trained staff will monitor you continually throughout your entire appointment. You will be able to respond to direction and communicate with the dentist when required.

What is the advantage to using Sedation Dentistry? One of the biggest advantages is that we can accomplish extensive amount of dentistry at one time, and you will have little of no memory of the experience! For patients that are anxious or fearful, the new treatment is miraculous!

Are you a Candidate for Sedation Dentistry? The following are common reasons why a patient such as you may be a good candidate for Sedation Dentistry. If one or more of these pertain to you, please call or click to arrange a no charge consult.

Is Sedation Dentistry expensive? There is a charge for booking sedation dentistry appointments. The charge represents the medication and time booked specifically for you to arrive at the office, receive your sedative and relax comfortably in our specialized chairs while being monitored at all times. During this time, the sedative will begin working and only then, after you feel entirely comfortable will the appointment begin. Our treatment plans which have been discussed and approved by you following your consult will include all necessary dental procedures including any follow up maintenance that may be necessary to maintain your oral health. Because these are generally larger treatment plans they can become costly. All West Dental has a number of payment options available to you to reduce the financial implications of your dental treatment.

Can I use my dental benefits for my treatment? During your consult visit, the Treatment Coordinator will update our information on your dental benefits and review with you what you may anticipate receiving from your benefit provider. We will require that all fees be due prior to your appointment(s) and our Patient Services Supervisor will coordinate with your benefit provider so you receive you benefits directly, in a timely manner.
