Root Canal Therapy refers to the process by which a dentist treats the inner aspect of a tooth, specifically the area that is occupied by the nerve. Each tooth’s nerve enters at the tip of its root(s). It then runs through the centre of the tooth through the root canals. During a root canal, the nerve tissue is removed, and the space is then filled. The tooth remains health after the procedure and the patient no longer feels pain in that tooth.
